Hello, there...

I'm Prashant Basawa, a Software Developer, based in Atlanta, GA. I develop cloud based computer applications using Java Technologies.

I love coding and I discovered this when I was in my college. It was then when it became clear what I wanted to do for a living. I pursued my career at Karnataka University in India where I learned Electronics & Communication Technologies.After I completed my Bachelors, I focused more on Computer Technologies and further studied to learn Java which was an emerging computer language that time. I got my first break in the year 2000 in a company, "Syntel Inc." where I began my professional career. After which, I went on to work on several projects in several companies.

With more than fifteen years of experience in the field of software design and development, I'm continuously pushing myself into new ideas for improving the world. I deeply care about new technology trends and explore them with great interest.I'm a passionate coder. I always look out to solve hard problems. Though experienced, I still believe I know little and there is plenty to learn. I'm not perfect but trying to be as close as possible.As an individual, I'm confident you’ll find me creative, funny and naturally passionate. I’m a forward thinker, which others may find inspiring when working as a team.

When I'm not coding, I binge watch my favorite television shows and sports events. I also love photography. I like to play around with my DSLR and try to produce quality pictures.

I worked with Prashant for several years while I was a Senior Project Manager and Delivery Project Executive with IBM Global Services. During our time together supporting North America's largest car-haul and vehicle logistics transportation industry client, Prashant served as a Senior Web Developer and Team Leader for both the onshore and offshore development teams. Prashant was a subject matter expert in both industry domain knowledge and web development technologies (Java/J2EE). He demonstrated strong client facing skills that enabled him to take a senior lead role in full SDLC web application projects that were large, complex and critical to our client's business operation.
